MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517079074 A) filed by Lenovo (BEIJING) Ltd., Beijing, on Aug. 20, for 'support of layer 1 and layer 2 triggered mobility.'

Inventor(s) include Liu, Bingchao; and Zhu, Chenxi.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Various aspects of the present disclosure relate to methods, apparatuses, and systems that support LTM. Some implementations of the method and apparatuses described herein may further include a user equipment (UE) for wireless communication, comprising: at least one memory; and at least one processor coupled with the at least one memory and configured to cause the UE to: receive a TCI states configuration of each of one or multiple candidate cells, wherein, the TCI states configuration includes multiple TCI states, and each TCI state provides two different QCL types."
