According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A PCF determines a WTRU is not configured to support VPLMN route selection policy rules. The PCF receives a first message that comprises service parameters associated with the WTRU. The service parameters may be used to generate VPLMN route selection policy rules which apply if the WTRU is registered in a VPLMN. If the PCF has determined that the WTRU does not support VPLMN route selection policy rules, the PCF sends a second message indicating that the VPLMN route selection policy rules will be sent to the WTRU if the WTRU becomes registered in the VPLMN. The PCF receives a third message from a network function. If the third message indicates the WTRU is registered in the VPLMN, the PCF sends a fourth message to the WTRU. The fourth message comprises generated VPLMN route selection policy rules for use by the WTRU in the VPLMN."

The patent application was internationally filed on Apr. 05, 2024, under International application No.PCT/US2024/023233.
