MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511113823 A) filed by Rayat Bahra University; Bahra University; and Rayat Bahra Professional University, Mohali, Punjab, on Nov. 19, 2025, for 'sunshade mesh securing device.'

Inventor(s) include Jagpreet Singh; Monika Pandit; Simranjit Kaur; and Sukhbir Singh.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A sunshade mesh securing device, comprises of a pair of members 101 attached to each other via a hinge 102, a circular plate 103 is installed on free-end of the member to position the plate 103 over a sunshade mesh to support the sunshade mesh, an imaging unit 104 installed on the member in sync with an optical to detect contact of the mesh with the plates 103, multiple suction units 105 installed on inner portion of the plates 103 to generate negative pressure to secure the plates 103 with the mesh, a cylindrical hollow unit 106 installed over the member to secure a rope with the mesh, and a drawer arrangement 107 is integrated within the cylindrical unit 106 to expand or contract size of the cylindrical hollow unit 106 for allowing the user to comfortably insert the rope within the cylindrical hollow unit 106."
