MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531018003 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 28, for 'sun visor holding device for four-wheeler vehicle.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A sun visor holding device for four-wheeler vehicle, comprising two rectangular bodies 101 to be adhered on roof of a four-wheeler vehicle via a pair of suction cups 102 and installed with a pair of U-shaped extendable members 103 developed to grip rod of sun visor installed within vehicle, a computing unit installed with a user-interface is wirelessly associated with device for enabling a user to give input commands for activating device, a suction unit generates vacuum pressure underneath suction cups 102 to adhere bodies 101 with roof of vehicle, an imaging unit 104 detects detachable and fixed side of sun visor, a telescopically operated gripper 105 tilt visor in determined direction, a motorized hinge configured between each of bodies 101 and members 103, to tilt members 103, thus allowing tilting of visor without causing damage to visor."
