MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411006205 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 30, 2024, for 'sun drying assistive device for grains.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Sham; Namarta Thakur; Shivang Kumar; and Shivam.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A sun drying assistive device for grains, comprising a housing 1 developed to be positioned at a roof top of an enclosure, multiple motorized omnidirectional wheels 2 attached with the housing 1, a push button 3 embedded on the housing 1, a speaker 4 mounted on the housing 1, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 5 mounted on the housing 1, a laser projection unit 6 mounted on the housing 1, a base plate 7 hinged with the housing 1, a pair of auxiliary plates 8 hinged with the base plate 7, a container 9 assembled within the housing 1, a mesh sheet 10 crafted at base portion of the container 9, a waste chamber 11 positioned underneath the container 9, an air blower 12 installed within the container 9 and a suction unit 13 attached with a detachable collection box 14 positioned within the housing 1."
