Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Successful Handover Report (SHR) Generation Method, And Apparatus, Device And Storage Medium' Filed by Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co. Ltd.

MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517098157 A) filed by Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co. Ltd., Beijing, on Oct. 11, for 'successful handover report (shr) generation method, and apparatus, device and storage medium.'

Inventor(s) include Jiang, Xiaowei.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided in the present disclosure are an SHR generation method, and an apparatus, a device and a storage medium. The method comprises: when a terminal successfully completes a handover between different radio access technology (RAT) cells, in response to detecting an SHR trigger event, the terminal generating an SHR. By means of the method disclosed in the present disclosure, an SHR can be successfully generated and reported during a handover between different RAT cells."
