MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611049960 A) filed by Manipal University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on April 20, for 'subtopic error-weighted adaptive quiz system with class analytics.'
Inventor(s) include Vatsal Aggarwal; and Dr. Pooja Gupta.
The application for the patent was published on May 29, under issue no. 22/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure discloses subtopic error-weighted adaptive quiz system with class analytics (100) for improving targeted learning outcomes. The system comprises a question bank with subtopic tagging (102), an error clustering engine (104), an adaptive weightage redistribution algorithm (106), a dynamic quiz generator (108), a gamification module (110), a student interface (112), a teacher analytics dashboard (114), and a school and class management layer (116). The error clustering engine (104) maps incorrect responses to subtopics and generates an error-weight distribution, which is processed by the adaptive weightage redistribution algorithm (106) to compute proportional question distribution. The dynamic quiz generator (108) creates subsequent quizzes accordingly while avoiding repetition. The teacher analytics dashboard (114) aggregates class-level data, and the gamification module (110) enhances engagement through improvement-based ranking, enabling automated, precise, and data-driven adaptive learning."
