MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517090305 A) filed by Fmc Corporation, Philadelphia, on Sept. 22, for 'substituted oxazolidinones and imidazolinones as herbicides.'

Inventor(s) include De, Saptarshi; Stevenson, Thomas Martin; Mccann, Stephen Frederick; and Komirishetty, Kashinath.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed are compounds of Formula 1, including all stereoisomers, N-oxides, and salts thereof, agricultural compositions containing them and their use as herbicides Z is selected from a group of a fully saturated, or a fully or partly unsaturated, five membered rings as shown below, optionally substituted by group R4 and R, R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, V, W, Y, Z and n are as defined in the disclosure."
