MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411022895 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 23, 2024, for 'stuffed food preparation assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A stuffed food preparation assistive device comprises of a platform 1 positioned on a fixed surface, a chamber 2 that is accessed by a user for storing a stuffing material which is to be sandwiched in between a bun, a plate 4 for accommodating bun, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 5 for capturing multiple images of the platform 1, a plunger 6 to apply pressure on stored stuffing material in view of pushing material towards an opening, a molding unit 9 for receiving transferred material, a pair of pistons 10 arranged on ends of plank to get extended/retracted for applying a pressure on ends of material, a pusher 11 integrated at base of the plank for applying a pushing force on prepared mold to get uplifted from mold, a pair of robotic arms 12 to grip mold from plank and position gripped mold in between bun."
