According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a smart dashcam-driven platform for automated student boarding verification and monitoring. The system integrates an ESP32 camera module for facial recognition and liveness detection with a GPS GLONASS chipset for real-time geospatial tracking. Managed by an Arduino-based microcontroller, the device captures biometric data to verify student identities against a cloud-based database while simultaneously providing live video streaming and telemetry to stakeholders via a mobile or web application. By employing spoof-prevention mechanisms and consolidating multiple security features into a single unit, the invention eliminates manual attendance errors, enhances student safety during transit, and provides a transparent, historical log of transport operations."
