MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511113444 A) filed by Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University, Gurugram, Haryana, on Nov. 18, 2025, for 'structural shed assembly with integrated solar power generator.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Shobhit Maheshwari.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A structural shed assembly with integrated solar power generator, comprises of a plurality of bifacial solar panels 101 for generating power from both direct sunlight and reflected/diffused light from the ground, phase-change materials (PCMs) 103 or nano-coated reflective layers reduce heat transfer underneath the shed, the excess thermal energy harvested via thermoelectric generators arranged with the shed, a plurality of rainwater channels 104 and filtration units 105 to collect rainwater, mechanized foldable frames 106 for mounting the panels 101, the frames configured to deploy or retract the panels 101 based on weather and sun angle, panels 101 fabricated as sections for easy transport and installation, the sections adapted with interlocking joints 107 for joining the panels 101, an integrated misting and wiper for automatic dust and debris removal from the panels 101, a plurality of IoT-enabled smart meters 108 enable demand-based power routing by routing power to a connected grid."
