MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517051844 A) filed by Huhtamaki Flexible Packaging Germany Gmbh & Co. Kg, Ronsberg, Germany, on May 29, for 'stretched film, laminate comprising such a film, use of the film, and packaging comprising or consisting of such a film.'
Inventor(s) include Daelmans, Eddy; Hilty, Marco; Skalbani, Wojciech; and Singh, Ashwini Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on June 13, under issue no. 24/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a stretched film (10), in particular for use in the production of packaging. The stretched film (10) is stretched uniaxially in a machine direction in a stretch ratio of 1.2 to 1.75, preferably a stretch ratio of 1.3 to 1.5. The invention additionally relates to a laminate comprising such a film (10), to the use of such a film (10), and to packaging produced using such a film (10)."
The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 29, 2023, under International application No.PCT/EP2023/083540.
