MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025431 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 28, 2024, for 'stove flame management device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A stove flame management device, comprising, a ring-shaped body 1 constructed with a pair of curved-shaped extendable members 2 having first ends configured with each other and second ends initially positioned away from each other, developed to be accommodated around a burner of a stove, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 mounted on one of the members 2 and paired with a processor for detecting diameter of the burner, a motorized hinge 4 configured between the first ends, wherein based on the detected diameter, and a drawer arrangement in synchronization with actuation of the hinge 4 configured between the first ends for tilting the members 2 to position the second ends in contact with each other, thus accommodating the body 1 around the burner."
