MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531019191 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 4, for 'storage device for gaps between car seats.'

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A storage device for gaps between car seats, comprising an elongated cuboidal housing 101 having a pair of clamps 103 by means of ball and socket joints, for enabling vertical or horizontal positioning of the plate 102, a Peltier unit 104 installed with the plate 102 to alter temperature of the plate 102, an airbag disposed within a compartment 105 mounted on the plate 102 for absorbing impact, a speaker 106 mounted on the plate 102 to generate an audio alert regarding availing medical assistance, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 107 installed on said plate 102 to determine an incorrect posture of a user and a microphone 108 provided on the plate 102 for receiving an audio command from the user regarding deploying middle seat."
