MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531011168 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 10, for 'stone laying device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Bidyadhara Basa.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A stone laying device, comprising a cuboidal housing 101 having four motorized tracked wheels 102 for locomotion of the housing 101, plurality of chambers 103 and a tank 104 for storing of stones and an adhesive, nozzle 105 mounted on a dual-axis lead screw mechanism 106 for applying the adhesive onto ground surface for adhesion of stones, iris lid 107 for dispensing of stones onto ground, L-shaped telescopic grippers 108 mounted on the housing 101 by means of ball and socket joints 109 for picking and placing the dispensed stones on the applied adhesive, an imaging unit 110 to determine shape and dimension of ground surface, microphone 111 for receiving an audio command from user regarding laying stones and a touch-enabled display 112 for enabling the user to provide touch input regarding selecting a pattern for the stone laying."
