MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517064721 A) filed by Arcelormittal, Luxembourg, on July 7, for 'steel sheet for top cover of battery pack and its manufacturing method.'
Inventor(s) include Krim, Tarek; and Sanzey, Pascale.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Top cover of a battery pack comprising a metallic coated steel sheet covered on both sides by an organic coating, wherein said organic coating is thinner on the inner side of the battery pack than on the outer side of the battery pack."
The patent application was internationally filed on Jan. 19, 2024, under International application No.PCT/IB2024/050527.
