MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421033694 A) filed by Dharmaraj Nathu Patil; Chetan Dharmaraj Patil; and Supriya Dharmaraj Patil, Bhanwaj, Maharashtra, on April 28, 2024, for 'steam power generation device.'
Inventor(s) include Dharmaraj Nathu Patil; Chetan Dharmaraj Patil; and Supriya Dharmaraj Patil.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a steam power generation device (100) comprising one or more joint flywheel turbines (4) of greater weight and larger diameter and mounted on supports between a steel or concrete structure to drive an alternator (10) on one or two sides, and several buckets (5) are installed on the circumference of the turbine (4), and the middle shaft (6) of the turbine is connected between the turbine and alternator with or without step up gearbox (9) and step down gearbox, one or more joint flywheels (14) are connected between the step up gearbox (9) and the step down gearbox (15). Steam force is applied by one or more nozzles (11) to buckets/blades (5) of the turbine (4), and by rotating the joint flywheel (14) at high RPM, the alternator is rotated at a sufficient speed. Thus, the joint flywheel turbine (4) rotates with the force of steam from the periphery of the turbine (4) for a sufficient period of time, and the steam is stopped after sufficient speed is achieved. And the alternator rotates for a longer period of time by the stored energy of the greater weight and larger diameter joint flywheel (14), and after the speed reduces, the turbine (4) is again rotated by the force of steam, continuing this process saves steam and improves voltage regulation."
