MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514075652 A) filed by Nidec Corporation, Kyoto, Japan, on Aug. 8, 2025, for 'stator and motor.'
Inventor(s) include Takao Inohara.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A stator includes a stator core having a core back portion and a plurality of tooth portions, an insulator member covering an end surface of the stator core in an axial 5 direction, and a coil wound around the plurality of tooth portions with the insulator member interposed therebetween. The insulator member includes tooth cover portions that are plate-shaped and disposed respectively on end surfaces of the plurality of tooth portions in the axial direction. Each of the tooth cover portions has a plurality of coil winding surfaces arranged in the radial direction on which the 10 coil is wound. Each of the plurality of coil winding surfaces includes a first coil winding surface and a second coil winding surface that is located on the core back portion side relative to the first coil winding surface when viewed in the axial direction and is at a position in the axial direction closer to the tooth portion than the first coil winding surface. The number of layers of the coil wound on the 15 second coil winding surface is larger than the number of layers of the coil wound on the first coil winding surface."
