MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514075636 A) filed by Nidec Corporation, Kyoto, Japan, on Aug. 8, 2025, for 'stator and motor.'
Inventor(s) include Takao Inohara.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A stator includes a stator core that includes a tubular core back portion extending in an axial direction and a plurality of tooth portions extending in a radial direction from the core back portion and arranged in a circumferential direction, in which a plurality of slots arranged in the circumferential direction are formed between tooth portions adjacent in the circumferential direction among the plurality of tooth portions, an insulator member covering an end surface of the stator core in the axial direction, and a coil wound around each of the plurality of tooth portions with the insulator member interposed therebetween. The insulator member includes a tooth cover portion disposed on an end surface of each of the plurality of tooth portions in the axial direction and a pair of protrusions protruding in the axial direction from each of one end portion and the other end portion of the tooth cover portion in the circumferential direction. The coil is in contact with outer surfaces of the pair of protrusions on an opposite side to inner surfaces of the pair of protrusions facing each other."
