Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Spot Presser Assembly With Magnetic Biasing' Filed by Blanking Systems, Inc.

MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517067373 A) filed by Blanking Systems, Inc., Grafton, U.S.A., on July 15, for 'spot presser assembly with magnetic biasing.'

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A presser assembly is provided for supporting a carton blank. The presser assembly includes a housing having a cavity formed therein. A presser plunger is telescopically received in the housing. The presser plunger is slidable between a first retracted position wherein the presser plunger is at least substantially received with the cavity in the housing and an extended position wherein the presser plunger projects from the open end of the housing. A magnetic biasing structure urges the presser plunger toward the extended position."
