MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521133208 A) filed by Powerarch Technologies Ip Private Limited, Nagpur, Maharashtra, on Dec. 29, 2025, for 'split-collar end anchoring assembly for concrete-filled flexible polymer tubular arch ribs.'

Inventor(s) include Chetan Tryambakrao Pawar.

The application for the patent was published on Feb. 13, under issue no. 07/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A reusable split-collar end anchoring assembly (10) is disclosed for mechanically securing the end of a hardened concrete-filled flexible polymer conduit (1) forming a tubular arch rib directly to an inclined skewback face (9) of a foundation abutment (6). The assembly comprises two symmetrical curved web halves (61, 62) and two complementary base halves (63, 64) fabricated from steel plates. Factory-welded angle joining brackets (65) with aligned bolt holes (67) receive fastener assemblies (66) consisting of paired bolts and nuts. The internal radius (70) of the web halves exactly matches the external diameter of the conduit. Tightening of the fastener assemblies generates clamping pressure that restrains the conduit axially by friction without welding or penetration of the polymer wall. The base halves include anchor insertion holes (68) for direct fixing to the skewback face by anchor bolts (71), thereby transferring the entire compressive thrust of the arch rib into the abutment without intermediate packing or transition plates. The assembly is fully demountable and reusable."
