MUMBAI, India, Jan. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511104047 A) filed by Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Oct. 29, 2025, for 'spiral forming apparatus for automated generation of fibonacci growth patterns.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Shubham Kumar; and Akhil.
The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a spiral forming apparatus for automated generation of Fibonacci growth patterns. The spiral forming apparatus comprises a support platform configured to provide structural retention and positional reference, a plurality of concentric disks rotatably supported on the support platform, a plurality of adjustable arms operatively connected to the concentric disks and configured to undergo extension in predetermined Fibonacci ratios, a coupling unit supported between the concentric disks and the adjustable arms and adapted to enforce proportional displacement during rotation, and a locking arrangement supported on the support platform and configured to retain the adjustable arms in Fibonacci-derived positions as rotational motion is imparted."
