MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441013347 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 23, 2024, for 'speedometer cable testing device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A speedometer cable testing device comprises a platform 1 developed to be placed on a ground surface, a motorized chuck 3 configured with a wheel 2 integrated with a meter pinion connection arrangement 4 for rotating the wheel, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 5 for capturing multiple images of the platform, a robotic arm 6 for accessing speedometer cable stored in a multi-sectioned container 7, plurality of speedometer 8 assembly for engaging the other end of the cable, an LED 9 to get illuminated for notifying the user, and a sensing module 10 for monitoring the temperature and sound during the testing."
