MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511117070 A) filed by Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Nov. 25, 2025, for 'spade making device.'
Inventor(s) include Kunal Sharma.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A spade making device, comprising a housing 100 installed with a pair of motorized wheels 101 for manoeuvring, an input means 102 for input command, a pair of grid rollers 103 rotatably mounted within the housing 100, a servo motor to dispense a steel sheet, a set of extendable guiding clamps 104 to stretch and position the steel sheet, a motorized cutter 105 to cut the steel sheet, a motorized clamp 107 for securely holding spade after cutting, a drilling unit to detect steel sheet's thickness, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 109, a robotic arm 110 installed within the housing 100 to grip rivets from a chamber, a hydraulic linear actuator 112 mounted on a dual-axis slider installed on ceiling portion of the housing 100, robotic link 115 installed within the housing 100 to grip an L-shaped metallic bar from a container 116."
