MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202544089133 A) filed by Nokia Technologies Oy, Espoo, Finland, on Sept. 18, 2025, for 'sounding reference signal port grouping for codeword transmission.'

The method may further include transmitting, to a network entity, the capability information comprising the indication of the one or more antenna port groups including a mapping of the plurality of antenna ports per codeword. The method may further include receiving, from the network entity, a channel state information reporting configuration based on the capability information. The channel state information reporting configuration may include an indication to include, in a channel state information report, a channel quality indicator based on a selection of one or more antenna port groups."
