Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Solid State Forms Of Ensifentrine' Filed by Cipla Limited

MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517066467 A) filed by Cipla Limited, Maharashtra, on July 11, for 'solid state forms of ensifentrine.'

Inventor(s) include Das, Arijit; Chennuru, Ramanaiah; Devarapalli, Ramesh; Indukuri, Anjaneyaraju; Yerramnaidu, Botcha; Mudgal, Shrikant Suresh; Surve, Manohar Raghunath; and Ghaitadkar, Maruti Laxman.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to solid state forms of Ensifentrine and methods for preparation, use and isolation of such compounds and novel process for the preparation of Ensifentrine. The present invention further relates to an improved, cost effective and industrially viable process for preparation of Ensifentrine."
