MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511124419 A) filed by Manav Rachna International Institute Of Research & Studies, Faridabad, Haryana, on Dec. 10, 2025, for 'solar radiation reflector assembly.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Prachie Bakshi; Dr. Bhupinder Singh Gill; Dr. Umesh Dutta; and Mr. Rakesh Kumar Chaudhary.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 23, under issue no. 04/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A solar radiation reflector assembly (100) is disclosed. The reflector assembly (100) comprises a stationary solar panel (102) adapted to convert incident solar energy into electrical energy. The reflector assembly (100) further comprises a mirror assembly (104) comprising a plurality of mirrors (106a-106n) arranged to form a polygonal body. The mirror assembly (104) is installed on a support frame (108). The reflector assembly (100) further comprises a motor (122) operatively connected to the mirror assembly (104) to rotate the mirror assembly (104) as a single body about a longitudinal axis. A rotation of the mirror assembly (104) enables at least one mirror (106a-106n) to reflect incident solar rays toward the stationary solar panel (102) at all times of day. The reflector assembly (100) ensures that reflected solar rays continuously reaches different parts of the the stationary solar panel (102) to compensate for changing position of sun."
