MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517064558 A) filed by Tokuyama Corporation, Yamaguchi, Japan, on July 7, for 'solar cell module recycling system.'
Inventor(s) include Yamashita Takeharu.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "[Problem] To provide a solar cell module recycling system able to support solar cell modules having a large panel size, and able to improve fuel economy. [Solution] Provided is a solar cell module recycling system for running a used solar cell module through a pyrolysis process, the system comprising: a conveyor on which to place the solar cell module; a pyrolytic furnace for running through a pyrolysis process the solar cell module placed on the conveyor; and a filter that is provided inside the pyrolytic furnace and oxidatively decomposes resin that has melted and dripped off of a pyrolyzed solar cell module that has been pyrolyzed. The conveyor is provided penetrating through the pyrolytic furnace in a direction of conveyance, and has a plurality of through holes for the resin to melt and drip off therethrough."
