MUMBAI, India, Jan. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511105638 A) filed by Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Oct. 31, 2025, for 'soil straining assistive device.'

The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A soil straining assistive device for extracting valuable items comprises of an elongated body 101 with a handle 102 to acquire grip for position a hollow rectangular frame 103 on the soil, a microphone 104 to provide input command for straining soil to extract precious things present in the soil, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 105 to determine height of the user, a telescopic arrangement 106 to extend/retract to provide convenience in applying force driving frame 103 into ground to collect soil on the frame 103, a pair of shovel 107 each by robotic link 108 to collect soil on the frame 103 for straining, a plurality of meshed sheets 109 with a vibrating units 110 to generate mechanical vibrations to shake the collected soil through the sheets 109 and a electromagnets to adhere metallic objects while allowing soil to be fall through the sheets 109."
