MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311088373 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on Dec. 22, 2023, for 'soil preparation device for plantation.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Manoj Kumar Mishra.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A soil preparation device for plantation comprises of a platform 1 arranged with a pair of rods 2 that provides support to platform 1, a caterpillar wheel 3 for providing movement to platform 1 over surface, an ultrasonic sensor for detecting placement of platform 1 on surface, multiple rack and pinion arrangements 4 mapped with ploughing tool 5 for allowing penetration of tool 5 inside surface, an imaging unit 6 for capturing images of surroundings of platform 1, a display panel 7 for displaying evaluated mapping and enabling user to input details, a pair of hinge joints 8 for deploying an auxiliary plate 9 to position auxiliary tools 10 on surface that allows complete cultivation of soil, a RADAR (Radio Detection And Ranging) sensor for detecting presence of obstacle in proximity to platform 1 and a speaker 11 for notifying user to remove obstacle from path of platform 1."
