Inventor(s) include Mr. A. Sai Chander; Dr. Angotu Saida; Dr. M. N Narsaiah; Mr. Vijaya Bhasker Reddy; Dr. Vandana Rao; Dr. D Chandra Prakash; Mrs. P Shirisha; Mrs. D. Latha; Mrs. G Lakshmi Bhavani; and Miss. Majji Revathi.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 2, under issue no. 01/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Soil moisture new approaches to nutrient management and soil health for sustainable agroecosystems is the proposed invention. The proposed system aims to integrate advanced technologies and sustainable agricultural practices to optimize soil health and nutrient management, ensuring long-term productivity while minimizing environmental impact. This system will combine IoT-based soil monitoring with machine learning algorithms to provide real-time insights into soil nutrient levels, moisture content, pH, and organic matter. Sensors embedded in the soil will continuously collect data, which will be transmitted to a central platform where it can be analyzed and visualized, giving farmers actionable information on soil conditions. the proposed system will include mobile applications that provide farmers with access to soil health diagnostics, real-time nutrient management recommendations, and localized weather forecasts. Educational tools and outreach programs will be integrated to build farmers' capacity in understanding soil health, nutrient management, and sustainable farming techniques. The system will also incorporate feedback loops, where farmers can provide data on crop performance and input use, allowing continuous improvement based on real-world outcomes."
