MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521133180 A) filed by Marwadi University, Rajkot, Gujarat, on Dec. 29, 2025, for 'soil management device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A soil management device, comprising a body 101 configured to traverse agricultural land, a set of extendable legs 102 installed underneath to adjust body 101 height according to detected surface conditions, a lug wheel 103 to provide movement across the land, an AI-powered camera 104 is mounted on a telescopic central mast 105, continuously monitoring soil conditions, field layout, crop rows, and target zones in real time, a vibrating S-tine cultivator 106 is mounted at the front that breaks hard soil, loosen the top layer, uproot and bury weeds, and improve aeration, a hydraulic cage roller 107 positioned behind the S-tines compacts and levels the soil, multiple spring leveling tines 108 that correct minor undulations and provide a uniform finish, a pair of guiding rails 109, and a motorized dual-axis slider 111, with a plough body 116 for autonomous ploughing, an electronically controlled nozzles 114 dispense water and fertilizer precisely."
