MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007240 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 2, 2024, for 'soil aeration assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Chandrasekar.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a soil aeration assistive device, comprising a V-shaped frame 1 installed with a motorized metallic wheel 2 via a pair of links 3 allows a user to maneuver frame 1 on a soil surface of an agricultural field, an ultrasonic sensor installed on handle 6 for detecting height of user, an artificial intelligence-based image capturing module 7 installed on frame 1 for capturing and generating 3D (Dimension) mapping of field, a motorized slider installed with bar 4 for translating blades 5 on bar 4 to orient blades 5 as per user-specified gaps for scrapping surface, a tactile sensor installed on frame 1 for detecting surface harness, and a thermal imaging unit 12 installed on frame 1 for detecting any presence of living organism present within surface."
