According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A sock pairing device (10) comprises at least two elevated stages (4), a colour sensor (1), a load cell (2), and an auditory feedback mechanism (5). The two elevated stages (4) position the socks (11) in designated areas and the colour sensor (1) is positioned on each elevated stage (4) to assess colour of the positioned socks (11). The load cell (2) is positioned at the bottom of each elevated stage (4) for assessing the weight of the positioned socks (11). The auditory feedback mechanism (5) is in communication with the colour sensor (1) and the load cell (2), which emit reassuring auditory feedback when the colour and weight of the socks (11) match, which signals correct pairing."
