MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517079506 A) filed by Essity Hygiene And Health Aktiebolag, Gothenburg, Sweden, on Aug. 21, for 'soap strip package.'
Inventor(s) include Hodossy, Sofia; Granath, Jenny; Burkhalter, Kevin; and Vanuzzo, Matteo.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A soap strip refill package (80), comprises a stack (1) of soap strips (2) enclosed in a wrapper (7), the wrapper is provided with a location of weakness for facilitating its opening, such that the wrapped stack can be inserted into a soap strip dispenser and the wrapper can then be removed from the stack."
The patent application was internationally filed on June 16, 2023, under International application No.PCT/EP2023/066267.
