MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007232 A) filed by Jai Adithya Poorana, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 2, 2024, for 'soap holder.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a soap holder comprising 3 spikes (100), that helps to hold the soap onto the soap holder. The unique cone design for comfortable hand-held grip, grooves (201) at the bottom of the base (200) to avoid slipping in a wet surface. The product is designed in a way to enable bar soaps last longer and stay fresher. With the 3 spokes on the tip of the product (101), it allows to grip the bar soap and since the Bar soap rests on a small surface area tip, it allows the soap to last longer and stay fresher. The conical shape allows the structure of the product to have a gradual long base (102) which allows the Product to provide the perfect balance and the base (103) has grooves (201) underneath to avoid any slippage."
