MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517056165 A) filed by Tomoegawa Corporation, Tokyo, on June 11, for 'soap composite particles, method for producing same, and cosmetic.'

Inventor(s) include Ikeya Hirotoshi; and Miyake Rika.

The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The problem addressed by the present invention is to provide soap composite particles that can both improve the texture of the skin and sustain the functionality of an inorganic oxide, a method for producing the soap composite particles, and a cosmetic containing the soap composite particles. The soap composite particles of the present invention have a core particle containing a saturated higher fatty acid salt and an inorganic oxide and an inorganic oxide externally attached to the core particle and are characterized in that the content of the inorganic oxide in the soap composite particles is 5 to 80 wt% and the shape of the core particle is spherical with a circularity of 0.80 to 1.00."

The patent application was internationally filed on Oct. 25, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/038472.
