MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202527069773 A) filed by Unilever Global Ip Limited, Wirral, U.K., on July 22, for 'soap bar compositions with improved skin benefits.'
Inventor(s) include Bankar Pravin; Bapat Mohini Anand; Ghatlia Naresh Dhirajlal; Majumdar Amitabha; Mathapathi Mruthyunjaya Swamy; Sanzgiri Vibhav Ramrao; and Sethna Simone.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed is a soap bar composition comprising 20 to 80 wt% total fatty matter; 0.1 to 5 wt% electrolyte; 0.001 wt% to 5 wt% PPAR activator selected from 10 hydroxystearic acid or 12 hydroxystearic acid; 1 to 45 wt% complex carbohydrate comprising starch; and 10 to 50 wt% water."
