MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441013547 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 24, 2024, for 'snow surface maintenance device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A snow surface maintenance device, comprises a cuboidal body 1 configured with multiple rods 2 attached with motorized wheels 3 to provides support to the body 1, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 to determine deformation, a chamber 5 arranged inside the body 1 for storing water, an electronic valve 6 attached with the chamber 5 for dispensing water, a hollow tube 7 attached with the valve, a refrigerating unit 8 to freeze water droplets, plurality of electronic nozzle 9 connected with the tube 7 for dispensing the snow, a motorized fan 10 attached with the body 1 for blowing air, a tactile sensor installed on the body 1 for detecting hardness, a pair of hydraulically operated pistons 11 attached with the body 1 to position a roller 12 arranged with the pistons 11 to press the snow, and a sensing module for detecting levelling of the snow."
