MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023473 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 25, 2024, for 'snow sliding device.'

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 24, under issue no. 43/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A snow sliding device, comprises of an extendable telescopic handle 1 attached to a front slab 3 for resting and sliding on a snow surface, a lower surface of the front slab 3 is provided with plurality of first pneumatic pins, a brake leaver 2 provided on the front slab 3 to extend pneumatic pins, a seat unit 4 connected with a pair of telescopic rods 5 with motorized ball and socket joints 6 allowing a turning of the front unit, seat unit 4 provided with plurality of motorized wheels 7, a front shield flap attached to a front end of the seat by a motorized hinge 8 to prevent the user from slipping, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 9 installed on the front unit for capturing and processing multiple images of the front unit, sensing module 10 attached to the front unit for measuring height of the user."
