MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411022915 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 23, 2024, for 'snow removal device for vehicles.'
Inventor(s) include Jasgurpreet Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 24, under issue no. 43/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A snow removal device for vehicles, comprises of a U-shaped frame 1 developed to be gripped by a user, an artificial intelligence based image capturing module 3 installed in the frame 1 for capturing multiple images of vehicle, a pair of telescopic rods 4 to position a motorized snow scrapper 5 in proximity to the snow for removing the snow, an ultrasonic sensor for determining the distance between the surface of vehicle's body and frame 1, a laser sensor installed on the frame 1 for determining the presence of snow on over handle 2 of vehicle's door, an electronically controlled nozzle 8 attached with a chamber 9 for spraying the solution over the handle 2, pneumatic links 11 position a heating pin 10 within key hole to heat the snow."
