MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019149 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 15, 2024, for 'snacks preparation device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a snacks preparation device comprises of a platform 1 installed with a push button 2 accessed by a user to activate the device, a pair of telescopic rods 3 that extends in order to lift the first portion of the platform 1, a touch interactive display panel 4 for allowing the user to enter size of snacks the user desired to produce, a sliding unit 5 for sliding plurality of semi-cylindrical members 6 installed on sliding unit 5 for adjusting gap in between the members 6, an artificial intelligence based image capturing module 7 to determine absence of any dough over members 6, a speaker 8 in order to direct a user to place the dough over the members 6, an inverted V-shaped member via a pair of sliders 10 to roll the dough over members 6 in view of producing user desired snacks."
