According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The Vehicle Accident Detecting and Alerting System is a new mobile safety solution that automatically detects road accidents and quickly alerts emergency contacts. The system uses the smartphone's built-in accelerometer and gyroscope sensors to monitor vehicle motion in real time. If it detects a sudden impact, abnormal deceleration, or a rollover, the app considers it a possible accident It then activates the GPS module to pinpoint the exact location, including latitude and longitude coordinates, ensuring the accident site is clearly identified. Once confirmed, the system automatically sends alert messages with important details like the accident time, location, and user information to pre-registered emergency contacts. These contacts include nearby hospitals, ambulance services, police stations, and the victim's family members. To reduce false alerts, the app has a confirmation timer, allowing the user to cancel the message if no real accident has occurred. Additional features like a manual SOS button, cloud data storage, and voice alerts improve the system's reliability and ease of use. The app's design focuses on low cost, accessibility, and quick response to ensure help reaches victims as fast as possible. Overall, this system provides a practical solution to reduce fatalities caused by delayed medical assistance, making it an important step toward better road safety and emergency response."
