According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The rapid urbanization and population growth in modern cities have created an urgent need for efficient and sustainable waste management solutions. This project presents a Smart Waste Management Dashboard developed using loT, Cloud Computing, and React, designed to automate and optimize the waste collection process through real-time monitoring and data-driven decision-making. The system employs loT-enabled sensors installed in waste bins to continuously measure waste levels and transmit live data to a cloud-based server. This data is then visualized on an interactive React dashboard, allowing municipal authorities to monitor bin status, receive alerts, and plan optimized collection routes. A secure communication channel ensures reliable data transfer between the loT devices and the cloud infrastructure, while data analytics and visualization components assist in identifying waste generation patterns and improving operational efficiency. The system also provides real-time notifications when bins reach their maximum capacity, preventing overflow and maintaining cleanliness. Additionally, route optimization algorithms minimize fuel consumption, labor effort, and collection time, leading to significant cost savings and environmental benefits. By integrating loT technology with modern web development frameworks, the project demonstrates how automation and smart analytics can enhance public sanitation management. The proposed solution not only reduces manual monitoring but also supports smart city initiatives by ensuring cleaner surroundings, efficient resource utilization, and improved quality of urban living. This invention stands as a practical model of how technology can drive sustainability and transform traditional waste management into an intelligent, connected ecosystem."
