The Smart UMIS Automated Student Data Entry App introduced in this work provides a modern, digital approach to managing student information. Through an intuitive interface, students can enter their academic and personal details directly into the system, eliminating paper-based processes. The app uses automated validation techniques to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of the submitted data, thereby reducing common errors in manual entry. A key functionality of the system is the generation of a unique QR code for each student, which allows the staff to instantly retrieve and verify student records using a simple scan. This real-time verification mechanism significantly reduces verification time and prevents crowding at administrative counters. Additionally, after successful verification, the system automatically generates a digital token that organizes the flow of students for subsequent processes such as fee payment, reducing confusion and ensuring an orderly sequence. The Smart UMIS solution thus transforms the traditional data entry workflow into a faster, more reliable, and highly efficient process. By reducing manual intervention, minimizing errors, and enabling seamless verification through QR codes and token generation, the system enhances the overall administrative efficiency, benefiting both staff and students while ensuring smoother academic operations."
