MUMBAI, India, June 16 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611054117 A) filed by Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, on April 28, for 'smart solar-powered remote load control system.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Sarika Kalra; Dr. Nupur Mittal; Adarsh Rai; and Tushar Tiwari.
The application for the patent was published on June 5, under issue no. 23/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed is a smart solar-powered remote load control system including a housing containing a photovoltaic input section, a charge controller, a battery storage section, a microcontroller-based control unit, a General Packet Radio Service communication module, a relay-driven switching section, and a protection section. The photovoltaic input section supplies charging energy through the charge controller to the battery storage section, while the control unit communicates with the communication module to receive remote commands for switching electrical loads through the relay-driven switching section. The housing includes a relay isolation bay, a control section, and a segregated power spine comprising separate conductive paths for charging current and load current between the photovoltaic input section, the battery storage section, and the relay-driven switching section, thereby improving electrical isolation, energy flow organization, and reliability of remote load control operations."
