According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Smart Safety Defender is a wearable emergency response system designed to provide immediate and reliable assistance during "critical "situations? The - system -utilizes - a- rule-based -Safety-Engine-with biometric monitoring through a photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor and manual activation via a capacitive touch interface to detect emergency conditions. Upon detection, a non-cancellable alert is generated after a brief verification interval, transmitting GPS coordinates via GSM communication and initiating an automatic voice call to predefined contacts. The system operates without internet connectivity, ensuring functionality in remote environments. Artificial intelligence, if implemented, functions only as an assistive component for noise filtering and does not override the Safety Engine. The invention provides a compact, low-cost, and fail-safe wearable solution that prioritizes guaranteed emergency alert generation."
