According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Glaucoma is a disorder characterized by excessive aqueous fluid in the eye, which causes elevated intraocular pressure and can damage the optic nerve. Current glaucoma medications are ineffective and may cause serious negative effects. Monitoring intraocular pressure in real time and with accuracy is critical, especially for individuals with severe glaucoma. The objective of the present invention is to develop a smart, non-contact system for continuous glaucoma monitoring, which makes glaucoma monitoring easier, safer, and more accessible. The system provides automatic alerts and easy tracking; it helps patients manage their eye health proactively and reduces the risk of vision loss due to undetected glaucoma."
