According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a smart medicine dispensing system (100) comprising a medicine box (102) with three horizontally arranged compartments (102a, 102b, 102c) designated for breakfast, lunch, and dinner medications, each color-coded with green, yellow, and blue respectively. Each compartment (102a, 102b, 102c) includes hinged lids (102d) and internal divisions (102e) creating before-meal sections (102f) and after-meal sections (102g) to accommodate medications with specific timing requirements relative to food intake. LED indicators (104) integrated with each compartment (102a, 102b, 102c) illuminate in corresponding colors to provide visual reminders for medication intake. Sensors (106) positioned within compartments (102a, 102b, 102c) detect access and track medication intake events. A mobile application interface (110) communicatively coupled to the medicine box (102) through wireless connectivity enables users to schedule medications, set customized reminders, and track adherence patterns with real-time synchronization."
