MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511116919 A) filed by Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on Nov. 25, 2025, for 'smart insole trainer system.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Manju Adhikari.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a Smart Insole Trainer system comprises a flexible insole embedded with a plurality of pressure sensors and an inertial measurement unit (IMU) to capture foot pressure distribution and motion dynamics during physical activities. A wireless communication module transmits the collected data to an external processor, which employs an AI-powered analytics engine to analyze foot placement, gait characteristics, and pressure anomalies in real time. The system features a feedback module integrated into the insole or associated footwear, configured to deliver corrective feedback through haptic signals, auditory cues, or visual alerts via a user interface. The user interface provides visualization of foot pressure through heatmaps, displays gait analysis and performance metrics, offers personalized training recommendations, and facilitates long-term progress tracking based on historical data."
